LoRenzo Daniel
LoRenzo has an athletic resume that is matched by few in the US and throughout the world. He is an American retired track and field sprinter, best known for setting the 1985 world's best year performance in the men's 200 meters and being one of the fastest to run the event at the time. He did so on May 18, 1985 at a meet in Starkville, Mississippi, clocking 20.07.
Daniel was born in Avera, Georgia and grew up in Wrens, Georgia. He stayed ini the area until attending Mississippi State University where he majored in Sports Communication. His fastest-ever 200m dash was 19.87 in 1988 at the NCAA Championships in Eugene, Oregon. At a time, he was the third-fastest man in the world.
Coach Daniel, now lives in Hickory Creek, TX with his wife, Sissy Sanders-Daniel and his three children: Lauren, Lorenzo Jr., and Lorielle. In 2002, he founded a sports agility company, Turbo Techniques.
For nearly 20 years, LoRenzo has helped athletes of all ages and sports take their speed to the next level. As a certified speed and agility professional, he is known for his ability to communicate with a wide range of athletes from the casual athlete to the professional athlete.
